Forging at the Blacksmiths, 2026
20 June (INTRODUCTION): 23 May, 05 June & 10 October - (ADVANCED)
Service Description
As this activity has proved so popular, we are delighted to be able to offer 4 more sessions at the forge with Andy in 2026. One will be an introduction to forging for those who haven’t been before, and three sessions for those who attended in 2025, which will be making more advanced items. There is a list of suggested things to make, please indicate what you would like to do when booking so that the materials can be prepped, though there may be some flexibility on the day depending on your ideas. This is a great opportunity to try out, or improve, your metalwork skills under the expert guidance of Andy, who will ensure that you finish your chosen items to take home and be proud of. Book early to avoid disappointment as places are limited to three people per session to ensure you get the most out of the day. You will need to travel to the forge – directions will be provided.
