🍺 Interested in brewing your own beer? Why not give it a go? We’re pleased to be running our first Introduction to Brewing Beer workshop, where local brewer Mike Richards will show you how to make a pale ale from start to finish. 📅 Saturday, 24th October 2026 ⏰ 10am–1pm 📍 Garthorpe Village Hall 💷 £45 👥 Only 6 places available Mike has many years’ experience in the brewing industry and will take you through making a mash, using malt extract, choosing hops, and how to rack and bottle your beer. You’ll also get to take home a container of fermenting beer, along with the equipment and instructions you need to finish the process at home. If brewing is something you’ve always fancied trying but never got round to, this is a great opportunity to have a go and learn the basics. Light non-alcoholic refreshments are included. Booking closes 17th October – but please book early as places are limited. ⚠️ Please bring a 1-gallon pan with you. 🍻 Another first for IEM — we hope you’ll join us!
