Introduction to Wet Felting

Service Description

Join us to learn the absorbing technique of wet felting. During this introductory session, under the expert guidance of Ade, we will be making a glasses case – perhaps something bright to help locate those elusive ‘readers’ when we put them down, or a distinctive protective case for sunglasses? To make the seams we will be using needle felting as an alternative to sewing, and the cases can also be personalised with a small needle felted design as you wish. Once we have the hang of the technique of wet felting with this workshop, it will hopefully lead to trying a more adventurous project next year. Everything you need is included, along with light refreshments. We will be having a break so that we can dry the cases enough to finish them off so please bring lunch.
